Applicability of general terms and conditions

These general terms and conditions apply to any agreement you make with Skip a stone consultancy.
Before you sign up for a workshop or course it is important to read them carefully. By signing up you agree to the general terms and conditions of delivery.

1: Applicability
1.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all offers and agreements made by clients or (potential) participants with regard to courses, workshops, training and education.
1.2 An agreement with regard to attending a workshop or training is established by the submission of an application form by the participant and the provision of a confirmation of registration by Skip a stone consultancy.

2: Subscriptions
2.1 All workshops or trainings are held subject to sufficient registrations.
2.2 Skip a stone consultancy reserves the right to change the location where necessary.
2.3 After payment you will receive an (electronic) confirmation of receipt via e-mail that makes your registration final. Registration takes place in order of receipt of the registrations.
2.4 Per workshop there are only a certain number of places available. The number is between 6 and 12 participants per workshop. As soon as a workshop is full, the registration will be closed and it is no longer possible to book a place.
2.5 If a workshop is full, you can email me to register for the reserve list. Put in the subject of your e-mail ‘reserve list [relevant workshop or course]’. Mention your full name and phone number. If a spot becomes available, I will contact you as soon as possible.
2.6 By registering, you agree to the general terms and conditions.

3: Unsubscribe by the participant
3.1 Unsubscribing must be done via e-mail.
3.2 If you unsubscribe from a workshop or course, €10,- administration costs will be withheld.
3.3 Unsubscribing from a workshop:
If you unsubscribe up to 1 month (30 days) before the start you will receive the full amount back, minus the administration costs. For cancellations between 30 and 14 days before the start date, 50% of the participation fee will be charged. If cancelled 14 days or more before the start date, 100% of the participation fee will be charged. If you do not show up during the workshop, no money will be refunded.
3.4 If you are unable to attend, you may also provide a replacement yourself. Your participation confirmation is transferable, but please let us know.

4: Cancellation/Displacement by Skip a Stone
4.1 Skip a stone is entitled to cancel the offered workshop or course in case of insufficient participants. If a workshop or course does not take place or is postponed, you will be notified at least 7 days before the start of the workshop or course.
4.2 Skip a stone is entitled to change the date of a workshop or course at the latest 2 weeks before the start of the workshop or course. The student will be informed by e-mail and has the possibility to cancel the workshop or course free of charge.
4.3 Skip a stone is entitled in case of illness of the instructor to replace it by another instructor or to cancel the offered workshop or course. In case of cancellation, the registration will be moved to another date or cancelled free of charge and the possibly paid course fee will be refunded.

5: Payment
5.1 The participant has to pay the whole claim within 7 days after the invoice date, unless explicitly agreed otherwise and in writing with Skip a stone consultancy.
5.2 In case of not punctual observance of the agreed partial terms, this agreement will lead to partial payments without any notification and the Participant can no longer claim it. In that case, the entire claim is due and payable.
5.3 If you have a discount code, you must enter it in the webshop during the payment process. After payment, discount codes can no longer be entered, nor will refunds be made to compensate for this.

6: Complaints
6.1 Do you have a complaint about a workshop or training? Please contact Skip a stone consultancy and we will do our best to assist you and try to solve the problem.
6.2 Submitting a complaint does not release the participant from the payment obligation.

7: Liability
7.1 Skip a stone consultancy accepts no liability for personal injury or damage to property of participants, nor any liability as a result of events during the workshop or training.
7.2 Skip a stone consultancy is not responsible for soiled or damaged property and will not compensate any damage.

8: Secrecy
8.1 All Course materials and additional documentation are protected by copyright and may not be copied, reproduced or otherwise reproduced and/or published. Making visual recordings of (part of) a workshop or training material is not allowed. The participant is not entitled to hand over or give in use to third parties any workshop or training material to which Skip a stone consultancy is entitled.
8.2 Participants commit themselves to secrecy towards third parties of all information they receive from fellow participants during the meetings and of which the participants must understand the confidential nature.

9: Miscellaneous

9.1 Skip a Stone consultancy always reserves the right to change the content of the workshops and trainings and/or to change prices.
9.2 Parking costs and/or public transport costs, if applicable, are at the expense of the participant.
9.3 If a participant causes nuisance before or during a workshop or training, we have the right to refuse or remove this person from the workshop, and to refuse for subsequent workshops or training sessions. The participant will not receive a refund of the money paid.
